Sawyer Camp Trail

The perfect place to crush your long run. Rolling terrain, beautiful views, plenty of bathrooms. Make sure to bring your own water as there’s only one water fountain at mile 6!

Palo Alto Baylands

A great place for long runs and tempos alike. Start at Byxbee park and run all the way to Stevens Creek past Moffett Field if your heart desires. It’s flat and the terrain gives your legs a nice break from pounding the pavement. You’ll find lots of nature (smells and all), and even some hills to do some repeats if you’re in the mood.

Rancho San Antonio

Land of a thousand trails. Choose your own adventure with this one. From a nice 5 miles on lower wildcat to conquering the PG&E poles fire road, there’s no shortage of experiences and runs to be had. Watch out for mountain lions, snakes, and aimless hikers. Come early, parking can be just as challenging as some of the climbs.
